Christianity is the most commonly practiced religion in Cuba. A majority of them are Roman Catholic. Following the Communist Revolution, Catholics or any religious members were not allowed to be a part of the Communist Party but were still allowed to practice the religion of their choice. Since then, they have let up on the requirement.
Protestantism
Protestantism and other forms of Christianity make up the smallest percentage of Cuba's overall population. 24% of the Cuban population are non-religious.
Santeria
Santeria is a somewhat common religion in Cuba that follows aspects of the Yoruba religion and Catholicism. It originated in the Caribbean during the Spanish Empire.
